Supersprox Stealth "BiMetal" is about longer life, without compromising weight. Primary goal, to last 3 times longer than aluminum and remain as light as possible. No concession, it's performance and function first and last.
Stealth rear sprockets use a combination of long lasting steel and lightweight aluminium to give a product that utilises the best of both materials. Supersprox believe that sprockets made entirely from steel are too heavy therefore they keep the steel teeth, but do away with the steel inner section and use aerospace aluminium to produce the inner section of the sprocket. The centre is coated with a 15µm film of organic based dye which prevents oxidization (the cause of pitting) and helps to prevent your sprocket coming loose on the wheel hub.
